As I said before, I really like some of the summer events in New York city, especially free ones.
Here, I'll add some links to events that may be interesting, along with some descriptions of some that I've already
been to. So, sorry, out of towners, I dedicate this page to the city I love. No events yet-what can I say, it's
still kind of cold, butt I can at least start with a few links.

"New Yorkled" is an onlinr publication. that lists almost all free and inexpensive events
going on in and around the City, especially dowwntown. It;a link can be found here;
early in the summertime, most of the attractions are the outdoor atreet fairs, and, while they have become
more and more commercialized over the years, there's still fun and bargains to be fpund at many of these fairs. In fact, Nqw
yokled is such a large site that you may miss some good ones, if you dom'y have theiy pages marked. so, New Yorkled, here's
your street fair page link:
Of course, msical events are great, especially when they're free!
one of my favorites, although it has been presenting more and more concerts pay, is Central Park Summerstage:
The other musical festival take place downtown-and I mean, Downtown! Keeping true
to its name, The Downtown River-to-River fertival has events, mostly musical, taking place at the small parks, for example,
Battery Park, and even occasionally city hall Park, The Southstreet Seaport, The World Financial Ceter and its environs-,
and some small restaurants, all presenting rock, country, soul, and occasionally(I guess there's not much room for symphony
orchestras in such small venues), classical music, at both daytime and nighttime performances. Their site can
be found at;

individual events
Well, you never can tell. It was HOT this summer, and that, along with a flare up of chronic pain
and other illnesses, kept ME in for most of the summer. But, I'll keep this up, a little while longer. Maybe fall
(or even winter) will be a little better.
